Planner Ellie Palmer (Bethany Joy Lenz) gets a call from her mom Katherine
(Sharon
Lawrence) from the family Poinsettia farm in Conway, Maryland, saying that her
father Greg (John Schneider) needs her help.
There
is a crisis as the poinsettias have yet to turn red and they are needed in time
for the Christmas Parade.
As
she searches for the solution with the help of a local botanist Shawn
(Marcus
Rosner) she is reminded of where her heart truly lies as they fall in love.
