Her military father, Tom (Alex Poch-Goldin) known as "the general" is naturally disappointed and tells ex-soldier Aaron (Michael Xavier) as much when he visits.

But as Aaron is also Emma’s ex-boyfriend, he hatches a plan with his city dwelling cousin (Solange Sookram) to persuade her to spent Christmas with her father, and help her rediscover the giving spirit of the holidays.

But it proves more difficult than he planned as talented artist and designer Emma’s endeavour catches the eye of a design guru and TV Host Kate Marguiles (Stephanie Sy) who sponsors the event.

Along the way the old feelings they shared come to the surface with the potential to ruin everything, but Christmas is the time for hope.
