Single father David Morales (Mario Lopez) is an Arizona high-school principal who lost the Christmas spirit after losing his wife at Christmas a few years earlier.

In order to avoid Christmas works as a delivery driver during the holiday season.

However, his 14-year-old daughter Noel (Paulina Chávez) and his sister Marissa (Marycarmen Lopez) stage an intervention to stop avoiding the holidays and start dating again. 

Which is when they set up a dating profile for him and his is matched with out-of-town musician Sophie (AnnaLynne McCord), they hit it off immediately, but as she is only in town for the holidays, they agree to a “practice-date" or two, but then the Christmas magic takes effect.

Interior designer Sam (Jana Kramer) has her own home renovation show, but fails to get the coveted live Christmas special, so she travels back to her hometown of Bell Harbour to help her Uncle Jack (Steve Vinovich) after the Bell Harbour Inn is damaged during a storm.

When she gets there, she discovers her uncle has hired Coop (Ryan McPartlin) to help with the physical work, the only fly in the ointment being that they used to be a couple before he broke off the relationship and she left town to start her television career.

In simple terms she sees him as the guy who broke her heart, and he sees her as the one who got away.

However, in spite of their unresolved issues they have to work together to get the job done which she records and uploads to her social media.

All of her followers soon see what they finally have to acknowledge, the spark between them has been rekindled.
