Gabby Messinger (Rachel Boston) is a guardian angel and is meant to gently guide those who she is sent to help but she can’t stop herself from getting too involved in people's lives and intervening directly.
So, for her
final mission Michael D'Angelo (Beau Bridges) sends her to Angel Falls on a
very special assignment which gives her slightly broader scope for a mission
during the Christmas season, to revive the town's forgotten Christmas spirit.
What she
finds when she arrives is that each person she meets has lost his or her
Christmas spirit, except one, Jack Avery (Paul Greene), Chief of the volunteer
Fire Department and owner of the local hardware store.
Gabby is
immediately drawn to him, and he unknowingly helps her as she discovers some of
the many personal stories which explained how each of them lost their Spirit.
Through it
all she finds a way to restore the Christmas Spirit of Angel Falls and
unexpectedly finds love in the process and doesn’t want to leave.
