Childhood friends and co-founders of CJ Toys, Christmas Winnacker
(Marisol Nichols) and Joe Sullivan (Paul Greene) part company after a
disagreement over the direction the company was going in and they didn’t speak
again, until….
Seven years later Chris plans to merge with Arlo Toys and she would be
CEO of the of the new company.
However, in order for the deal to go through she needs Joe to sign off
on the deal, which means she needs to find him and speak with him.
If that wasn’t enough to deal with, she also had to look after her
teenage niece Emma (Veronica Marin-Estrada) while her parents were away.
Chris tracks Joe down to the Antiques and Collectibles store owned by
his father Tucker (James M Jenkinson) where Joe was working in the Toy
Hospital.
Joe agrees to sign the papers in return for Chris volunteering to help
with his fundraiser, the Christmas Toy Drive Jamboree, culminating on December
23rd.
During that time Chris, rediscovers the spirit that made them start CJ
Toys together in the first place and she begins to see Joe in a different light
as she recalls unspoken feeling she had since childhood which she is unsure
what to do with and then he tells her he has secretly been in love with her
since they were ten.
