Eight-year-old friends Sadie and Ben (Kiara Malcolm and Ben Akiz
Aguma) are next door neighbours and they plant a scrawny 3-foot-tall Christmas
tree behind their church, swear an oath and make a Christmas Pact to keep their
special holiday traditions alive and recommit every year.
The grown-up Sadie and Ben (Kyla Pratt and Jarod Joseph) try their
best to keep the spirit of Christmas and the magic of their childhood pact alive,
but life gets in the way
With each Christmas that passes Ben and Sadie's Christmas tree grows
taller and stronger; but so, does their curiosity about the answer to the
question they dare not ask, can best friends fall in love?
