Nicole Graham (Torrey DeVitto) and her fiancé Henry (Giles Panton) own
and run the Village Toy Emporium and were in the middle of remodelling the
house which would become their marital home.
Then during the Christmas season, he was tragically killed in an
accident and a year later Nicole is struggling with Christmas but comes to the
conclusion that it’s time to move on, so she plans to sell the house and the
store.
However, the house needs to be completed before the sale, so she
employs carpenter Joe Roberts (Dylan Bruce).
At a low moment she texts an outpouring of grief to Henrys old phone
number and to her great surprise she receives a sympathetic reply from someone
who had also been through the grieving process.
So, she has practical support from Joe and emotional support from the
mystery texter, two halves of a perfect man.
