Successful political consultant, or spin doctor, Jillian (Kali Hawk) is confident in her ability to put a positive spin on any situation and is working on the upcoming Mayoral campaign for her boyfriend, George (Damon Dayoub).

Deceit is one of the weapons she employs and is not above lying to a young girl in a toy store, or even Santa to achieve her objective, so on the way to meet George's family for the first time, she has an angry confrontation with a toy store Santa, or so she thinks, because in reality he is the real deal, so Santa puts a “curse” on her so she can't stop telling the truth.

So, Jillian must find a way to make it stop before her Christmas, her job and her relationship are ruined.

Architect Steven (Jonathan Bennett) doesn’t do Christmas in his own home and the bit of Christmas that he does celebrate is always at a relative’s house.

However, the holiday amateur unexpectedly and unwillingly finds himself hosting his entire family for Christmas.

Desperately out of his depth with all things festive he recruits holiday coordinator Gretchen (Alexa PenaVega) to bring all the trappings and trimmings of Christmas joy to his home in order to impress his family as well as organizing some entertainment on the run up to Christmas itself.

With Gretchen's expert seasonal touch and abundant Christmas spirit she brings Steven's family together, while unexpectedly bringing them closer to each other.

In fact, the magic of Christmas presents them with a great opportunity and they must decide what's really important to them in life.

Marketing executive Rachel Carter (Zarrin Darnell-Martin) lands her dream job as a marketing director and earns a place on the small presentation team, but before they can meet the client a snowstorm traps her and her boss Adrian Blackstone (Henderson Wade) at a brand-new luxury resort, which is to officially open to guests the next day.

With no other guests to attend to the maître-d' of the resort, Jean-Luc (Scott Thompson) gives them his undivided attention and Rachel and Adrian get to spend some quality personal time together and they realize there may be more to their relationship than just business.

However, while vying for the Top Winter Lodge Award and experiencing the chaos of planning the annual Yuletide Festival, fate brings them together again, and over the holidays her love of music is rekindled, and although they haven't played together since they broke up, the magic of Christmas helps to reunite them once again.

Historian Jessica Cooper (Elizabeth Henstridge) is hired to create the Plaza's Christmas display, and after searching the storage decides it should feature the collection of Tree Toppers from the Hotels past.

While she is working hard on the exhibition, she meets handsome decorator Nick Perrelli (Ryan Paevey) and they team up in order to bring the display to life.

And as they work ever closer, bringing the past and present together, romance blossoms in this lovely Christmas movie.

But there is also an older tale of love involving Reginald Brookwater (Bruce Davison) which has a significant bearing on Jessica’s Christmas display.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE (2020)

 

In the style of “The Holiday”, and acting on a whim, out of work editor Molly Cooper (Laura Vandervoort) swaps her snow-covered Connecticut farmhouse for a luxurious apartment in London owned by Financier Patrick Kingston (Rainbow Sun Francks), and she is delighted as in her view London is the most romantic city in the world.

Almost as soon as the two arrive the communications begin between them, and soon Molly begins to look forward to every missive and Patrick finds her warm emails and charming texts compelling and love blooms during Christmas time.
