As a result of country music starlet Tess Stapleton (Hannah Barefoot) suffering falling album sales, her label and manager force her to record a Christmas album with ex-teen heartthrob and pop-star Derek Copeland (Evan Gamble).
Her
first reaction is to say no but if she did the label planned to drop her, so
she reluctantly agrees.
At first, they appear to be polar opposites,
though to their mutual surprise, as the album shapes up, they find themselves
growing closer as they get nearer to Christmas.
