In a small town, two rival toy shops vie for each other’s customers, Connie Forrester (Melissa Joan Hart) and her brother Randy (Dan Amboyer) run one and Will DiNova (Mario Lopez) runs the other and there is no love lost between them.
But unscrupulous toy magnate Roy Barnes
(Billy Gardell) opens a super store in town and the two rivals have to reluctantly
join forces to defeat him.
Slowly as they battle against the interloper
Connie and Will, begin to thaw and they both discover that there is more to
life than running a toy store.
But they aren’t the only targets of cupid’s
festive arrows, Connie’s mum Pam (Beth Broderick) and café/bar owner Joe Haggarty (Brian
Dennehy), also feel loves sweet sting, and Randy finally succumbs to the
advances of Joe’s waitress Francine (Tara Strong).
