In the picturesque little town of Evergreen, Allie Shaw (Ashley Williams) is the local veterinarian about to make the move to Washington to start a new career and be closer to boyfriend Spencer (Marcus Rosner), at his behest, but she loves Evergreen and doesn’t really want to go but she agrees to give it ago.
But then Ryan Bellamy (Teddy Sears) and daughter
Zoe (Jaeda Lily Miller) make an unscheduled stop in Evergreen on their way to
the airport to catch a plane to Florida.
In the diner run by Allies parents Carol and Joe
(Barbara Niven and Malcolm Stewart) there is a special snow globe which if you
shake it and make a wish, magic can happen.
Allie, in the hope that it might spur Spenser into action,
wishes this will be her most romantic Christmas ever.
Zoe also makes a
wish that she and her dad can spend Christmas in Evergreen and as a result a
snow storm closes the airport and Allie does get her romantic Christmas.
