In the New Year Princess Victoria of Zelarnia (Fiona Gubelmann) is to take on more official duties from her mother, Grand Duchess Charlotte (Gwynyth Walsh) which is a daunting prospect especially as she is  already overwhelmed by her royal duties during the Christmas season.

So she asks her mother if she can take a short break to clear her head in Montana where she once celebrated Christmas as a child with her late father at Peaceful Pines Ranch.

While she’s there she meets and falls in love with the ranch owner’s son Huntley Blaylock (Warren Christie) but after the Christmas Holly-Day Dance it’s time for her to decide if she should return home to her royal life and duty or stay and follow her heart.

Shortly before the Christmas Gala Olivia has to make a large delivery in a remote location about an hour away, the Gala is especially important as All Wrapped Up are sponsoring the event.

When she arrives at the client's address she is stunned to be face to face with her ex-boyfriend Benjamin Hall (Jake Epstein) who she has not seen for four years.

After he invites her in for coffee they argue about their break-up and open up old wounds, so Olivia storms out and begins to drive home, but a sudden snowstorm has closed the road, so she is forced to return to Ben's.

Neither of them are happy with the situation, more so Olivia, as she is unable to get back to help her friends prepare for the gala.

The pair continue to bicker but as the storm worsens, they have to work together to get through the drama and inevitably their old romantic feelings resurface.

However will those feelings thaw when the storm abates.

Tennis star Luke Hollis (James Lafferty) finally won a major tournament after a long career in the game and at the press conference announced his retirement before heading home to Pinecrest Florida to his family’s Sandy Lake Racquet Club, however when he returns home, he discovers the club is about to be sold to a developer.

Luke is naturally unhappy, as he learned to play tennis at the club, and he had imagined taking over the business himself, but he is also unhappy that half the club has been converted into pickleball courts, and although he has contempt for the game it appears that Pickleball is the only thing that can save the club.

So along with Caroline (Zibby Allen), the club's pickleball coach, who is fighting to save the club, Luke agrees to compete in the Christmas Pickleball Tournament, which they need to win to save the club.

A tall order because Caroline has to teach Luke to play the game first, which is no mean feat given his disdain for the game, but she gets through to him, in more ways than anyone expected.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHRISTMAS IN BIG SKY COUNTRY (2023)

 

Becca Collins (Rebecca Dalton) runs her yarn shop in Montana and sources the wool locally from the family farm run by her father Anthony (Shaun Johnston) and sister Rose (Tamara Duarte).

But the shop is struggling to make ends meet and her brother-in-law Josh (Mark Ghanimé) has to work on an oil rig in Alaska to bring money in.

After an incident on the rig and communications are cut off and they are getting not reports from the company in Houston.

So to appease the families new promoted PR Agent Logan Johnston (Olivier Renaud) is sent to Montana, but he soon realises he is just there to improve the company's image and after meeting Becca and her family he rebels against his heartless corporate boss Martin Hill (Conrad Coates) and  finds himself in the fight to save those on board the stricken platform and before long he and Becca are stricken.

Inevitably they find themselves falling for each other but can the relationship go anywhere when Sean has no desire to leave his hometown and she has a fear of settling down in one spot.

Unfortunately Dave slept in and missed the flight, so the pair have to embark on separate quests to find each other, using snippets of their conversations from their night at the hotel, as the only they know about each other is their first names and that they live in the same city.

Things come to a head when she wins the class Christmas Tree and brings it home and sets it up and her father is really angry, and things are said which should never be said out loud.

As it turns out her best friend her best friend Becca (Zarrin Darnell-Martin) works for a property management company and suggests that she should fill a caretaker position  at an empty winter chateau where she can peacefully complete her book.

However on her first morning the owner, Prince Henry (Neal Bledsoe) arrives unexpectedly with two members of his entourage, Ms. Tilson (Jennifer Wigmore) and Fritz (Luke Marty).

Then she learns that part of her job as the house caretaker includes performing tasks for the royal group.

He is there to sell the chateau in preparation of taking the throne the following week and although there first exchanges were a little frosty they eventually help each other come to terms with their particular problems.

However while doing so they create a whole different problem which will be more difficult to solve.
