Chicago
based talented junior web designer Sara Thomas (Lacey
Chabert)
allows herself to be treated as a doormat and never speaks up for herself, even
her best friend Molly (Andrea Brooks).
Its
only when her big idea for a Christmas initiative is stolen by her line manager
Dirk Tyson (Jason McKinnon) that she decides to walk away.
But
she is given a gift by Santa (Howard Storey), a Christmas
Wish, so she wishes to finally have the
courage to stand up for herself and Santa grants her wish, but it will only
last for 48 hours.
Her
first action is to confront Dirk for stealing her work in front of everyone at
the Christmas party, the result of which is Dirk loses his job and company
founder and CEO, Peter Williams (Paul Greene) chooses her to accompany
him on a crucial business trip to Seattle to meet with a notoriously difficult
client, Wilson Taylor (Michael Ryan) to pitch her idea.
So
can Sara’s newfound acts of courage win the account and save the company and
win Peters heart?
