When
Jessie (Amy Groening) hears that the “Chamberlain
Family Christmas Olympics” is being cancelled this Christmas Eve, she takes
drastic action and lies to her mother and says she's inviting a date to the
long-standing holiday tradition.
She
finds Bryan (Robert Buckley) on a dating app and he agrees to spend
the holiday with her and her crazy family.
As
they participate in the range of eccentric activities they start to develop
real feelings for each other.
But
the family soon catch on to their secret, but Jessie and Bryan also have secrets that they haven’t
shared with each other but may derail their budding romance if they are
revealed.
