30-something
Nell Duke (Lyndsy Fonseca) is looking forward to having her family visit her
over Christmas but for a variety of reasons they all cancel so unexpectedly she
finds herself spending Christmas alone in the city with a list of Christmas
activities planned.
So
she convinces herself that celebrating Christmas on her own would really be a
good thing for her.
Meanwhile
her next door neighbour, Cooper Armer (Daniel Lissing), has had to cancel his
Christmas ski trip to Aspen as his boss tasked him to organize the office
Christmas party for an important new client.
Despite
the fact they were only on nodding acquaintance she and Cooper strike up a
friendship and agree to spend Christmas alone, together, and he helps her
negotiate singleton situations and she helps him plan the office party.
Along
the way they discover that Christmas together is the better option.
