Jesse
(Brittany Snow) gets dumped right before the holidays by
her boyfriend Shawn Campbell (Alex Moffat) and as he will not be spending Christmas with
his family as he is staying in New York, she accepts an invitation from his
parents Liz and Robert (Julia Duffy
and George Wendt).
While
she is there, she meets she meets his handsome cousin David
(Justin Long) and they slowly fall for each other, but
then Shawn turns up unexpectedly and on seeing David and Jesse together decides
that he wants to get back with her.
So what will she do, go back to Shawn or take a
chance on David?
