With
the promise of a partnership, ambitious interior designer Colbie Clark (Susie
Abromeit), is tasked by her boss Mallory (Kimberley Joseph) to take on the challenge
of decorating the historic Chapman House in time for a major fund-raising Christmas
Gala.
She
was apparently requested by name, by the owner of the estate Eloise Chapman (Fiona
Stewart) and has to work estate manager Ben Thurston (Liam McIntyre) which
leads to some conflict in regard to styles as she favours the modern,
high-fashion aesthetic whereas he tended towards the rustic.
Despite
the initial friction they soon embrace a mutual respect as they work long hours
together and an inevitable attraction develops.
But
then Mrs Chapman’s daughter Layla (Brittany Grey) returns from London for the
Holly Ball, so Colbie has doubts, and he has applied for another job in Italy
anyway and then her boss warns her off, which add to those doubts.
So,
will the pair align their visions to create a successful, heartwarming holiday
fundraiser, and secure a romantic future for themselves?
