Workaholic,
Amy Bell (Michele Weaver) has no time for anything other than her job and her
hobby, roasting her own coffee, and says no to anything else.
But
in the run up to Christmas her world falls apart when she loses her job, but
her brother Phil (Ian Collins) sees it as a way to get her out of the rut she
was in convinces her, while she’s jobless, to promise to say “yes” to things
she previously said “no” to. until Christmas.
As
a result she is pulled onto the stage at an improvisational theatre performance
by Nico (Jeff Pierre), one of the performers.
Then
afterward, because she can't say no, she becomes enlisted into Nico’s charity
activity wrapping Christmas presents and as she and Nico get to know each other
and realize that there is common ground between them, and she finds she doesn’t
want to say no.
