Despite not having designed for a while interior designer and single mom Abbey (Jill Wagner) is hired to decorate the estate of businessman Nick Sinclair (Matthew Davis).

She was recommended by his mother Caroline (Donna Mills) but she has her work cut out to thaw the ice-cold business man.

Abbey needs his help, as she needs to know what he likes, what budget she has to play with and what his expectations are.

Caught up in the Christmas preparations and spending time with the cheery young woman turns his world upside down and Christmas takes on a new importance for them both.

When Country Music Star Melody Jones (Alicia Witt) is accused of plagiarising her Christmas single she needs to find proof she wrote the song as a teenager, so she returns home to spend Christmas with her estranged family, and she bumps into an old flame Chase Norman (Mattson Brendan Hines) to boot.

The proof that she wrote the song seems to be everywhere in town and family and friends all remembers her performing the song in a concert many years earlier but what she really needs is the original sheet music or the rumoured video of her performance.

But the truth will out with the help of Chase as well as making some sweet music together in this delightful Christmas RomCom.

When one of the anchors decides to depart America's favourite morning show, “Rise and Shine” the hunt begins for a replacement. Among them the son of a broadcasting legend, Charlie Fisher (Dean Cain), a local New York newscaster.

Also in the mix is Connecticut based human-interest reporter Emily Morgan (Melissa Joan Hart) who just happens to be his ex from before his move to New York.

So, the sparks fly as they battle it out on and off air to make an impression during their segments.

It becomes clear as the competition narrows, that either Charlie or Emily will get the job, however as they compete, they soon discover that the spark between them when they were a couple still burns bright.

Guardian angel Rose (Angela Lansbury) goes to visit an orphan named Emily (Noelle E. Parker) who is sick in the hospital and tells her a story about another guardian angel (Dick Van Dyke).

Who has appeared to Annabelle Kingsley (Alivia Clark), aka Buttons, from time to time following her loving parents’ prayer to God to watch over her when she had scarlet fever as an infant.

When Annabelle is 10, she and her mother learn that her father William Kingsley (Ioan Gruffudd), a ship captain, has been lost at sea, then her newly-impoverished mother Sarah (Julia Burrows) is forced to work in a textile mill and the harsh conditions lead to her death.

So, Annabelle is an orphan and is bullied by the other girls until she escapes.

She finds herself alone, hungry, and cold on Christmas Eve, guided by her guardian angel she decides the only place she can turn to for safety is the church, and finds salvation.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – ONE FINE CHRISTMAS (2019)

 

When Haley (Sasha Fox) comes home for the Christmas holiday she finds that things on Christmas Street are not as they should be.

It seems like every household have been so busy with their day-to-day lives that they have lost sight of the importance of family during the holiday season.

Especially at Haley’s home since her family split up, her mother Susan (Vanessa Williams) is work obsessed and only has time for her prospective deal with her client Roger (Rick Fox), she has even neglected her own mother Alice (Marla Gibbs).

The rest of the neighbours are no better, Al (Mark Christopher Lawrence) is so focussed on work that he is completely unaware of how his wife Matty (June Carryl) fills her days.

And Bob and Diana (Rodney Van Johnson and Eva La Dare) are shocked when son Jesse (Alfonso Caballero) comes home for Christmas with a very special surprise in the shape of new wife Misaki (Kirstin Leigh), they are further shocked when it turns out she is also pregnant.

So, Haley has her work cut out for her bringing the community together and show them what’s really important in life.
