When Haley (Sasha Fox)
comes home for the Christmas holiday she finds that things on Christmas Street
are not as they should be.
It seems like every
household have been so busy with their day-to-day lives that they have lost
sight of the importance of family during the holiday season.
Especially at Haley’s
home since her family split up, her mother Susan (Vanessa Williams) is work
obsessed and only has time for her prospective deal with her client Roger (Rick
Fox), she has even neglected her own mother Alice (Marla Gibbs).
The rest of the
neighbours are no better, Al (Mark Christopher Lawrence) is so focussed on work
that he is completely unaware of how his wife Matty (June Carryl) fills her
days.
And Bob and Diana
(Rodney Van Johnson and Eva La Dare) are shocked when son Jesse (Alfonso
Caballero) comes home for Christmas with a very special surprise in the shape
of new wife Misaki (Kirstin Leigh), they are further shocked when it turns out
she is also pregnant.
So, Haley has her work
cut out for her bringing the community together and show them what’s really
important in life.
