Brooke Miller (Brittany Bristow) is dumped by her boyfriend right before Christmas and as her parents Donna and Walter (Teryl Rothery and Bruce Boxleitner) are expecting her to bring her boyfriend home for Christmas she is in a quandary.
So, she enlists the
help of actor Joel Parker (Matt Cohen) to play the role of her boyfriend for
the holidays, but not just any boyfriend, he has to pretend to be the ex.
However, when the bogus
relationship ruse comes to light, the two have a lot of explaining to do and
are forced to re-evaluate their relationship which is no longer false.
