It's the Christmas season, six months after web designer Jolie Guidry (Hilarie Burton) moved back to New York City following a breakup with high school sweetheart, Foster Broussard (Hunter Burke).
And she is dreading
her return to Lafayette, Louisiana for the holidays, because she knows she will
run into Foster who will be with his new girlfriend.
But her best friend,
Naomi (Danneel Ackles), has the solution, a fake boyfriend, and the fake in
question is her older brother, ghost writer Jack Friedman (Robert Buckley).
Nothing, of course
goes according to plan, although love does overcome jealousy and envy in this
delightful, well-paced and believable holiday treat in which Cheryl Ladd and
Bruce Boxleitner also star.
