Successful Romantic
Adventure writer Izzi Simmons (Ali Stroker) is working on the fourth in the
popular series of books, but her best friend and editor Mila (Kim Nelson) thinks
that the ending of her first draft, which was delivered late, is too perfect
and her main character Desmond Ranes is unrealistic.
So, with a new
deadline of Christmas Eve Izzie convinces Mila to allow her to work on the
necessary edits from the Antler Lodge in Silver Springs.
Which was where she
went every year, as she was a traditionalist and in her view of the perfect Christmas
it was a winter wonderland.
So the Lodge was her
Christmas home away from home, and Bob (Bill Marchant), the proprietor, was as
much a traditionalist as her.
However, on her arrival
she is horrified to find Bob is retiring and his son Matt (Daniel di Tomasso)
is taking over, and he wants to make improvements to the Lodge.
She is also slightly taken aback by his startling resemblance to the leading character in her books and as its Christmastime sparks fly between them and romance blooms and she gets the ending to her book and her hero.
