Following years of bit
parts and near-misses, struggling actress Charlotte Lacy (Maggie Lawson) lands
the lead part an off-Broadway production of “A Christmas Carol”, just as she’s
about to throw in the towel and move to Chicago to take a real job.
There are two major
issues though, firstly she has history with the director Julian Walker (Brennan
Elliott) and secondly the lease on the historic theatre is set to expire and
the landlord is planning to sell it for redevelopment.
The first problem is
resolved as Charlotte falls in love with Julian but to save the theatre will
require a Christmas miracle.
