When a wedding planner unexpectedly quits only days before her sons Christmas Eve Wedding, Joan (Catherine Bell) steps in to coordinate all the arrangements at the resort Hotel where she had her romantic awakening.
She is
assisted by the brides Uncle Beau (Mark Deklin) but as they work alongside each
other to make the perfect day, overcoming problems and obstacles along the way,
they discover that their pasts, presents and futures are intertwined.
After the airport is closed due to snow the Royal Family of Galwick are left stranded without transport or anywhere to stay.
However,
Anna Jordan (Laura Osnes) sees only a mother Gabriella Galant (Victoria Clark)
and son James (Aaron Tveit) in need of help so she offers to drive them to her
father’s Hotel where they can sit out the impending blizzard.
Its only when
she reaches the Hotel and introduces them to her father Ed (Tom McGowan) that
she discovers the true identity of her passengers.
So, while
they are snowed in Anna shows the Prince how they do Christmas in her hometown,
while their best friends Sara Melnick (Krystal Joy Brown) and Christopher
Brooks (Bradley Rose) take advantage of the situation and fall in love.
But after
Anna encourages him to open his heart, they soon follow suit.
New York City veterinarian Scarlet (Kristi McKamie) and her son Milo (Pono Say) return to her Vermont hometown to spend Christmas with her county Vet father Mitch (Michael Swan).
While there
she is reintroduced to large animal veterinarian medicine and also meets
small-town doctor Josh (Jonathan Stoddard) who is so immediately smitten that
he sets out to recreate a New York City Christmas, including all the elements
that she celebrates each year with Milo, but in her Vermont home-town, in the
hope that she will fall in love with the town and him so she will want to stay.
Phoebe Saunders (Beverley Mitchell) is co-owner of Seeing Green Flower Shop, with Laurie Danes (Benedicte Belizaire), her best friend since childhood.
For Phoebe
Christmas the best time of year and loves all the traditions of the season so
when she learns that her most favourite Christmas tradition of all, Candy Cane
Lane, isn’t happening anymore, she is devastated.
Laurie sees
this as a good thing as she secretly thinks Phoebe has allowed her
traditionalism to prevent her from experiencing life where she could make new
traditions.
And a series
of chance encounters between Phoebe and veterinarian Eric Kelton (Mark Ghanimé)
lead Laurie to hope that her best friend has found someone to make traditions
with.
A gifted party planner, Holly Green (Natalie Dreyfuss) is Known as a "fixer" by her employers because she can be relied upon to fix difficult clients.
Which is
why she is assigned to the Pines account and work with young CEO Theo Pine (Marshall
Williams) to plan the best Christmas party of the year in order to dazzle the
Mayor.
Theo is
more interested in working on the plans for the new Civic centre which he hopes
will save the company, but his father insists that he work with Holly on every
detail.
So, Holly
immerses him in every facet of Christmas from the bottom up and while they
spend every available minute together, they fall in love.
While talented but workaholic television producer Vivienne (Jessy Schram) is producing the latest Country Christmas Live TV show she is visited by Marilyn Jinway (Wynonna Judd) her recently deceased mentor.
It comes at
a time when she meets estranged childhood friend Gavin Chase (Wes Brown) for
the first time in years, when he and his client Belinda Manners (Sara Evans)
arrive from Los Angeles as she is opening the show.
But seeing
him again dredges up bad memories of their past friendship.
So it is
timely when, Marilyn, warns her that her current path leads to an unhappy
future, and introduces her to Pat (Kix Brooks), the Ghost of Christmas Past who
reminds her of episodes in her life, and the Spirit of Christmas Present
(Kimberly Williams-Paisley) shows her moments of the present.
While she
is rekindling her relationship with Gavin, head of the TV network Henry Moss (Al
Mitchell) dangles the possibility of a promotion to Los Angeles to do the IMA's
but she has to drop Belinda from the opening number.
So the big
questions are, have the Ghostly visitors softened her heart?
Will she
choose ambition over friendship? Or has the friendship from childhood turned
into something else.
In Cutter Springs, New York, On December 18th, 1903, after an argument with his fiancée Eliza Parker (Cecilia Deacon), inventor and businessman Charles Whitley (Ryan Paevey) is transported to 2020 by a magical Christmas clock, after passing out.
The antique
Christmas Clock was a gift for Eliza, which, when wound on a Christmas moon
help the winder find true love.
When he
wakes up he finds his Mansion full of people, because his former home is now a
museum, and Eliza, his maid Rosie, and his butler Fredericks are being played
by actors for the entertainment of museum visitors.
Although
the woman laying Rosie was actually museum curator Megan Turner (Erin Cahill)
and the great-granddaughter of the maid she was portraying.
Once
Charles was over the initial shock and Megan accepted that he really was from
1903 they set about finding out how to get him home.
But by the time
they locate the Christmas Clock, and the night of the Christmas Moon comes
around they have started to fall for each other, and Charles must decide what
he wants to do.
