THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CANDY COATED CHRISTMAS (2021)

 

Molly Gallant (Molly McCook) is a rich marketing executive from L.A. working for her father Fred Gallant (John McCook), however his company is threatened by foreclosure just at the moment when she needs capital to start a new business with her friend Gracie Park (Jae Suh Park).

So, she heads the small town of Peppermint Hollow during the Christmas season to arrange for the sale of the house her mother left to her in her will to oversee the selling of the house instead of going to Hawaii as she had planned.

The house is rented out and the tenants are her mother’s best friend Kim Winters (Lee Garlington), her son Noah (Aaron O'Connell) and his niece Dakota (Landry Townsend).

They believe Molly id there because they are behind with the rent due to the mint plantation they run is struggling after their biggest customer went out of business.

Although her intention was to evict them, the longer she spent with them the harder that prospect became and then to complicate matters she begins to fall for Noah and her for her.

Stella Murphy and Pablo Belmonte (Jessica Szohr and Marco Grazzini) have worked for six years as co-hosts on a house make-over show, House Sweet Home, Stella as designer and Pablo as contractor, and the bicker on and off screen like a married couple, even though they are only friends.

However, at Thanksgiving they discover their highest rated show of the year is in jeopardy as the homeowners pull out.

the show's producer Zoe (Nicole Power) convinces Stella and her fiancé Jack Hall (Mykee Selkin) to be the homeowners for the episode, as well as holding their wedding in the completed house after the home reveal on Christmas Eve.

Under the unfamiliar pressure of renovating her own home and having to work more closely with Pablo than usual makes her reassess her choices.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHRISTMAS MATCHMAKERS (2019)

 

Jen (Anna Marie Dobbins) and Jon (Andrew Rogers) are both executive assistants for very demanding bosses, Jen works for Kate (Vivica A. Fox) while Jon works for Owen (Dorian Gregory).

As they both have plans for Christmas which they are going to miss out on, they decide their only hope is to get their respective bosses to fall in love with each other, what they didn’t bargain on however was falling in love themselves.

When she wakes up on Christmas morning all of her normal inside thoughts and frustrations are still there, but they inadvertently begin to spill out and she starts telling everyone what she really thinks which does not go down well, even though most of them needed to be said.

The only one she can confide in is her best friend and wannabe boyfriend Matt (Gavin Bedall) but all she can hope for is not being too honest before the wish wears off.

Eventually, when the dust settles, her family do hear her and Becky hears them, and Becky’s uncontrollable honesty brings everyone closer together.

Tara Aries (Skye Townsend) and Tre Bailey (Jaime M. Callica) crash the millionaire Everest party in Atlanta, Tara wants to pitch her Dating App idea to Elliot Everest (Diesel Madkins) and Tre targets his daughter London (Kajuana S. Marie) with his fashion designs.

Instead, they end up being employed by Sapphire Everest (Deja Dee) as party planners for the family Christmas party.

So, Tara takes on the great deception while Aunty Rhonda (Cocoa Brown) tries to get her reconciled with her estranged mother, Diahann (Pam Smith), but she needs to focus all her attention on the job in hand.

But  while living in at the Everest mansion trying to achieve their goals Tara and Tre find true love.
