THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A ROYAL CHRISTMAS TAIL (2024)

 

Prince Edward of Valenberg (Jonathan Stoddard) is in America to meet up with an old College friend Andrew (Josh Nuncio) to discuss a business deal, and as he is walking from the hotel to the meeting he literally runs into Riley Morningside (Brittany Underwood) runs an animal shelter for unwanted animals in need of new homes and is immediately smitten.

Because he is interested in getting to know her, he takes an interest in the shelter she runs and spends a lot of time with her while his valet Martin (Jarod Brock) is laid up with a severe cat allergy.

Riley tells him that the shelter is threatened with closure as the landlord is demanding a higher fee when the lease is up for renewal at the end of the year.

However there is a twist in the tail which could ensure everyone gets what they desire, well almost everyone.

The next day he wakes to find he is a high school age boy (Hunter Fine) and with the help of his housekeeper Odette Marchand (Jewel Christian) he is enrolled in high school so he can get close to his niece and nephew, Olivia and Matthew Baker (Kayla Blair and Kaleb Hiller).

After a few failed attempts to change things, he finally realises that he is the one that needs to change.

So Cole has to puts together a group of Christmas carollers to win the audition and sing at the party, after cycling through the local criminal element for half decent singers they come up short.

So he recruits Miguel (Kian Fan) who is a great singer and needs the money, he is also interested in Cole’s estranged daughter Annie (Natalie Scott).

Annie reluctantly agrees to join the group but is unaware of the plan to steal the gem, so will it be the final nail in the coffin of their relationship  when she finds the truth.

Sparks fly between Jennifer and Sexy Santa but complications ensue when it comes to light that the company Jennifer works for is the same one trying to run Moretti’s  out of business and if her promotion fails to increase the Mall’s revenue sufficiently it will close in the New Year.

So what will do? will she sacrifice her friends and a possible romance to attain her goal or will she adjust her priorities?

Every year Claire (Michelle Pfeiffer) has created a  special Christmas for her husband Nick (Denis Leary) and their 3 children Channing, Taylor and Sammy (Felicity Jones, Chloë Grace Moretz and Dominic Sessa).

She then extended her plans to include son in law Doug (Jason Schwartzman) and grandchildren Lucy and Ben (Rafaella Karnaby and Drake Shehan) when they came along, so every Christmas she does all the shopping, cooking, decorating, arranging entertainment and dealing with adversarial neighbour Jeanne Wang-Wasserman (Joan Chen).

However after arranging tickets for everyone to attend a Christmas Concert they all leave without her and she snaps, packing a bag and driving away.

When the family realise they had forgotten her they hurry home and find the house empty and realize she's missing, and they go into melt down.

After a series of misadventures, Claire drives to Burbank California to crash her favourite show hosted by Zazzy Tims (Eva Longoria) and when the family see her dancing on the TV they get on a plane in order to rescue Christma.
