In
Chesterfield, New York, Law teacher and former property lawyer Sadie Walker
(Danica McKellar) comes out of retirement when she
discovers that the town's Drive In Theatre has been sold for redevelopment by
her ex-boyfriend Holden (Neal Bledsoe).
As
the theatre has historical status it requires the Towns historical society
committee to approve the redesignation and Sadie manages to get a stay of
execution, but she has to prove that it has status as an local institution and
garner public support, however she only has until Christmas Eve to prove her
case.
Holden
has the same period to prove the opposite but as the two of them work side by
side she reignites his love for the Theatre and the town while rekindling there
previous romance.
However
as they near the deadline their success is being undermined by unseen forces,
so have all their efforts been in vain or will the outcome be a happy one?
