Former
Mergers and Acquisitions lawyer Sophie Marlow (Candace Cameron Bure) now works
with Erin (Hilary Jardine) as a Barista Barrister in Waynesbridge,
Washington.
She
is living at the farmhouse on the Maple Meadows Farm which was left to her by
her great Uncle Henry, and she is engaged to her childhood friend and famous
screenwriter Sam Stackhouse (Cameron Mathison).
This
Christmas their love story is being made into a movie, using Sam’s screenplay, however
the filming and its associated dramas has become all-consuming and has strained
their relationship and their actual real life, and their wedding plans have had
to take second place.
But
Sam, her family and friends are all keeping a secret from her which will put
everything into perspective.
