THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A STORYBOOK CHRISTMAS (2019)

 

Celeste Everette (Ali Liebert) run her own Event Planning Company with her best friend Molly (Victoria Maria) and they are busier than usual during the Christmas season.

In addition to running the business she had also been guardian for her niece, Finley (Habree Larratt), following the tragic death of her parents.

As they prepare to spend their second Christmas together as a family, Celeste is surprised when a Nanny Agency sends a man, Taylor Haldway (Jake Epstein) to take care of her niece during the run up to Christmas.

Despite her initial misgivings she soon realizes she may have found the perfect person for her niece, and the perfect Christmas love for herself.

Jessica Bailey (Rachel Shenton) is an American opera singer on her way to perform at a concert in Vienna, Austria, when her flight is unexpectedly diverted to Northern England.

Having to make an overnight stay before resuming her flight she catches a train to the nearest town, but falls asleep and misses her stop ending up in the small rural town of Knaresborough.

She finds that the only place to stay is a bed-and-breakfast in an enchanting village run by a handsome widower named Andrew Hunter (Mark Killeen), his mother-in-law Sandra (Michele Dotrice), and she soon realises the family is struggling to hold onto the lodge and parkland.

While Jessica is trying to schedule the next flight out so she can make it to her concert she falls in love with the place, Andrew and his Daughter Katie (Isla Cook) and is determined to help them save the place from Developers.

But when their Dad, Gerald (Reginald VelJohnson) wins the lottery and uses the ticket to lure his girls’ home to spend Christmas with him and their mother Diane (Kay-Megan Washington) who is suffering from dementia.

And it’s because of her dementia that she loses the ticket which brings out the best and the worst of the children and their partners as they try to find it.

That is until Los Angeles heartthrob and its most illegible bachelor, real estate tycoon Ryder Donnelly (Kyle Dean Massey) walks into her shop and despite a rather frosty first exchange, they both start to wonder what could be between them, as Christmas starts to work its magic.

Which is why on one winter day Emily’s sister Dorothy (Jennifer Ellis) arrives out of the blue from New York with Charlie Blanchard (Ryan Cooper), one of her business associates.

Dorothy holds a half share of the farm but has never had in interest in farming and had only returned to realize its cash value by selling the farm for real estate.

Which means Emily and her mum needs a miracle to save the family farm and her father's legacy in time for a happy Christmas and help comes from an unexpected quarter.
