After
losing her job and suffering an ugly breakup journalist Katrina (Brooke
Burfitt) writes a bitter anti-Christmas book which her sister Lindsey (Bridget
Fitzgerald) secretly sends to a publisher, and it becomes a best seller.
After
becoming a best-selling author, she has to hide her love for Christmas to boost
her sales, so to indulge her love of Christmas she seeks out a website for
people who are crazy about Christmas: "Christmas Lovers Anonymous"
and finds love in the process.
But after she is
engaged at short notice to plan a Christmas wedding for influencer Susan
(Rachel Leyco) things are about to change.
Rachel was recommended for the job by Susan’s manager Logan (Peter Porte) who turns out to be Rachel’s her first love and high school sweetheart, and the one that got away.
Rachel
(Mary Antonini) is a small-town wedding planner who has struggled with
celebrating her mother’s Christmas traditions since her death.
But
after she is engaged at short notice to plan a Christmas wedding for influencer

Rachel

It's
the favourite time of the year for Christmas lover Colin (Robson Green) who
loves the food, the telly, the presents, in fact he loves everything about it,
he even loves playing Santa at his children’s school.
However,
for his best friend Howie (Mark Benton) the opposite is true, he hates
Christmas, he hates Santa and since his wife left him and took their daughter
with her and thinks it's all a waste of time.
But
in a curious twist of Christmas karma Colin is not required as school Santa and
Howie finds himself as a last-minute replacement Santa in a massive shopping
centre grotto, which leads him to be selected to represent England at the World
Santa Championships in Lithuania.
Despite
his disbelief Colin manages to get the gig on Howie's team, though there is a
catch, he has to go as an elf, and a girl elf at that with bells on his shoes,
but that turns out to be the least of his problems.
Travel
columnist Sonny Kravitz (Tatyana Ali) is persuaded by her travelog making best
friend Bree Ferris (Whitney Able) to help her get her boyfriend Jarod Gopradi
(Rojas Geovanni) to go through with his intention to propose.
What
Bree omits to tell her that Jarod’s best friend Kip Bravo (Jesse Kove) would
also be involved, and he was Sonny’s ex-boyfriend.
So,
they all travel to her parents, Cliff, and Paulette Kravitz (Patrick Faucette
and Robin Riker) snowy chalet where they present a series of twelve holiday international
Christmas traditions.
As
they tick off the traditions towards their goal could the wounds between the
ex’s be healed?
Ava
(Kim Shaw), is an entrepreneur who, along with her two friends Sahara and Jimmy
(Rachel Grate and Luke Jones) puts on themed events for clients, depending on
the season, under the company name of Rent a bunny, Rent a Ghost and of course
Rent an Elf.
It
was while doing a Christmas event at an Architect’s office that Ava first meets
Liam (Sean Patrick Thomas) and his son Nathan (Zakai Biagas Bey), but it’s the
following year before they meet again when Liam hires her holiday event
planning business to put on something special for Nathan because he has lost
his Christmas Spirit since his mum walked out on them the previous year.
As
she works her way through a number of events Ava begins to think there may be a
future for the two of them, but then his ex-wife Jojo (Nicholle Tom) comes back
hoping to reclaim her family, but will she come between Liam and Ava or is the
die cast.
Serious
TV Reporter, Mary Romero (Tamara Feldman), is unhappy when she is assigned a
puff piece in time for Christmas, about a Christmas toy manufacturer celebrating
the 40th anniversary of their most famous creation the Mistle Toad.
So,
she has to head off to the small town of Brunswick to visit the factory to film
an interview with the CEO Alton Johnson (Torrey Hanson) who is very
enthusiastic about promoting the company.
However,
she has to spend a lot of time with his charming son Blake (Matt Trudeau)
who is reluctant to participate in an
interview and abhors the commercial approach.
However,
as she struggles to get a good story, she finds that spending time with Blake
is more important than the story.
