An enjoyable and credible reworking of Charles Dickens well spun yarn of redemption.
This retelling of
the story is of the owner of her own financial trading institution, Alexis
Taylor (Toni Braxton), who is ruthless and driven and on Christmas Eve is
visited by the ghost of her mother Lydia (Gloria Reuben).
She tells Carol
that she has lost sight of the things that are truly important in life and takes
her on a series of visitations to her past, present and future to show her the
errors of her ways and discover the true spirit of Christmas and open herself
up to love.
