During the Civil War a young Christian woman, Aura-Lee (Sophie Bolen) is living alone in a small remote cabin while Grandpa Charlie (Andrew Dawe-Collins) is away fighting for the Confederate Army in the war.
On
Christmas Eve a wounded Union soldier Douglas (Kyle Patrick)
stumbles into her life and in the spirit of the season she tends his wounds and
offers him refuge.
As
they spend Christmas Eve singing their favourite songs, they fall in love
despite being on opposite sides in a terrible conflict.
