THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1933)

The Night Before Christmas is a beautiful, animated tale based on the classic poem “The Night Before Christmas” narrated by Kenny Baker about a delivery to a houseful of children.

It begins when Santa lands on the roof and goes down the chimney where he opens his bag and the toys magically come to life to decorate the tree.

Soldiers shoot baubles from their cannon, a toy airplane dresses the tree with a string of garland, a toy firemen squirts snow onto the branches and a blimp delivers the star to the top.

When Santa is filling the stockings his laughter awakens the children, who sneak out of bed, and the toys rush to their places, as Santa escapes up the chimney in the Nick of time.

The other vocal talents are Bill Geiger, Leone Le Doux and Gunther Lessing.
