Amidst the breathtaking beauty of Lake Tahoe's winter wonderland, rising singing star Ashley Miles (Logen Cheatham) could be on the brink of success while working for a marketing company.

Then she meets Nick Scott (Brad West), and they have a whirlwind romance ending in their engagement.

But with Christmas fast approaching he gets a call to say his father (Nick Scott) had had a heart attack, so he sets of on his Harley to see him, but on the way back he has an accident during a blizzard.

In the aftermath his bike is found but his body is not and eventually he is declared dead.

As the seasons pass, Ashley slowly begins to heal with help of family, friends, and then opens herself up to a new love, someone who brings light back into her world, Bobby Rossi (Sean Perry).

They are married on Christmas Eve, but even before the ink is dry on the licence she finds out that Nick Scott is alive, so she arranges to go and see him on Christmas Day.

So, what will she decide, will she choose to reunite with her lost love or choose a future with the new love of her life.

Country-western singer Lorna Davis (Dolly Parton) is tired and burned out in Hollywood and feels disconnected from her country roots.

Her manager Ned (Rene Auberjonois) and Video Director (David Ackroyd) are trying to steer her in a different direction, so she decides to escape to her friends Cabin in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.

On the drive through the mountains, she gets pulled over by Sheriff John Jensen (Bo Hopkins) and from the woods they are being watched by a witch called Jezebel (Anita Morris).

When she gets to the cabin, she finds it full of runaway children, Jasper, Cindy, Jake, String Bean, Freddie, Mary and Buster

(Danny Cooksey, Gennie James, Chad Sheets, Marc D. Robinson, Daryl Bartley, Ashley Bank and Micah Rowe) she is also being tracked by a Photojournalist from Hollywood, Harry (Dan Hedaya).

When under the witch’s spell, she stumbles into the woods and runs into a reclusive backwoodsman Mountain Dan (Lee Majors).

When six of the children end up back at the home and Lorna is locked up, Dan, Harry and Jake team up to get them all out and defeat the Witch.
