Layla O'Reilly (Jessica Lowndes) is an aspiring interior designer who has dreamed all her life of being a December Bride, but then her cousin Jessica (Pauline Egan) invites her to her Christmas Wedding to Layla's ex-fiancé.
Despite
the fact that Seth Murphy (Daniel Lissing) was responsible
for introducing the bride and groom, she begrudgingly accepts his offer to be
her date to the wedding, as going to the wedding alone would have intensified
the humiliation.
However
he gets carried away at the reception and announces they're engaged, and in the
spur of the moment she decided to go along with it.
But
as the faux couple spend more time together, pretence turns to something very
real.
