and Evan are a young married couple who are struggling financially as Christmas
approaches, he’s been laid off from the mine and his truck needs a new engine
and she is finding it hard to meet the bills.

a result they agree not to buy Christmas presents that year, secretly however
they both decide to do so anyway.
