Country-music star Laney Blu (Megan Hilty) returns to her hometown of Baxter Mountain, Tennessee, for a flying visit before Christmas as she has a big concert in New York on Christmas Eve.
It’s
been a few years since her mom Susannah (Teryl Rothery) has seen Laney at home
for Christmas and is content to see her for as long as she can.
However
when a freak snowstorm hits town, Laney is stranded in town, much to her mom’s
delight and is then roped into taking part in the local Christmas concert by
Mayor Robbie Buckley (Marcus Rosner) who just happens to be her ex-boyfriend.
