Averie Davis (Chaley Rose) was once part of a well-loved music duo “Averie and Jesse”, with former sweetheart Jesse Collins (Rome Flynn), most famous for their duet “Wouldn’t Be Christmas”.

But they went their separate ways years ago and Averie gave up music and opened a beautiful Lodge in a snowy Vermont.

Jesse meanwhile stays in the business touring small venues and struggling to find the same kind of success he had when he was part of a a duo.

However, while vying for the Top Winter Lodge Award and experiencing the chaos of planning the annual Yuletide Festival, fate brings them together again, and over the holidays her love of music is rekindled, and although they haven't played together since they broke up, the magic of Christmas helps to reunite them once again.

Historian Jessica Cooper (Elizabeth Henstridge) is hired to create the Plaza's Christmas display, and after searching the storage decides it should feature the collection of Tree Toppers from the Hotels past.

While she is working hard on the exhibition, she meets handsome decorator Nick Perrelli (Ryan Paevey) and they team up in order to bring the display to life.

And as they work ever closer, bringing the past and present together, romance blossoms in this lovely Christmas movie.

But there is also an older tale of love involving Reginald Brookwater (Bruce Davison) which has a significant bearing on Jessica’s Christmas display.

In the style of “The Holiday”, and acting on a whim, out of work editor Molly Cooper (Laura Vandervoort) swaps her snow-covered Connecticut farmhouse for a luxurious apartment in London owned by Financier Patrick Kingston (Rainbow Sun Francks), and she is delighted as in her view London is the most romantic city in the world.

Almost as soon as the two arrive the communications begin between them, and soon Molly begins to look forward to every missive and Patrick finds her warm emails and charming texts compelling and love blooms during Christmas time.

When Heidi Nelson (Emily Osment) left her small hometown of Pleasant Valley with the dream of one day becoming a successful painter, but she had to put her own artistic endeavours on hold in order to work as an New York City art gallery curator, which she made a great success of.

However, a week before the gallery's big Christmas party, a call from her sister Megan (Sarah Jackson) has her flying home so she can babysit her niece and nephew Katie and Tom Westwood (Trinity Roberts and Jacob Buster) while their parents go out of town.

Almost as soon as she arrives back in Pleasant Valley, she comes face to face with her high school sweetheart Chris Shepherd (Ryan Rottman), who is now a teacher, and is also giving her Nephew Tom, extra lessons after school to help get his grades up.

In addition, he has been given the task of organizing the Christmas SnowBall, a task for which he appears to Heidi to be in over his head especially when it turns out he must find a new last-minute location for the Christmas dance.

So, Heidi offers to help and together they discover the perfect venue, called Wonderland Farm.

As a result of spending time in Pleasant Valley decorating for the Christmas SnowBall with Chris, she is inspired to start painting again.

However, as Christmas approaches fast, she is conflicted, torn between her unfulfilled life in the City and life back in Pleasant Valley.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A VERY CORGI CHRISTMAS (2019)

 

Workaholic single mom Lauren Bradley (Kelly Kruger) and her son Jacob (Davide Fair) return to her childhood home for the holidays.

All she wants is time to work on securing a promotion at work, but her hopes for a quiet break are dashed as her plans are interrupted when she meets single dad with a lively Christmas spirit Ben (Kevin McGarry), and she keeps running into him.

Eventually Ben asks her for a huge favour, he needs her help to keep a Christmas gift a secret from his daughter Charlie (Ariella Cannon) and that gift is an adorable Christmas Corgi puppy!

This was not what she had in mind as she wanted the holiday to be a well-earned rest, but she agreed anyway, and although it was a drain on her time along with all the calls and interruptions around work, Lauren and Ben got to spend more time together.

And with Ben she learned the importance of family holiday spirit and spending time with the people you love and for her finding Ben was the best gift of all.
