Having a birthday on Christmas Eve has meant that is has always been overshadowed by Christmas so for Leah Taylor (Emily Osment) her milestone 30th birthday was going to be no different, in fact as her brother Tom (Mike Dopud) was getting married that day as well so her birthday would be even more obscured as she was a bridesmaid.
On the plus side she is reunited with her brother's best friend since
childhood, Drew Vaughn (Casey Deidrick), Tom’s best man and Leah’s girlhood
crush.
Amidst all the wedding hustle they spend a lot of time together as
they deal with all the obstacles before them as the day approaches, more time
than they really need to as a romance develops between them.
She always puts her family first, but he is determined to make sure
her birthday does not go by the wayside and will make it special for her.
