After her workaholic boyfriend Dean (Anthony Carro) cancelled their Hawaiian vacation so he could go on a business trip, Ava (Anna Marie Dobbins) decides to go on vacation on her own.
Meanwhile in Tinsel, California widowed Mason (Marc Herrmann) and his
daughter, Mia (Rylie Coe), are preparing for Christmas alone.
Mia however wants two things for Christmas, a puppy, and to find
someone for her Dad.
So, behind her Dad’s back she advertises their guesthouse on a Holiday
Home Rental website and Ava books it.
Shortly after arriving, she realizes that the Mason isn’t expecting
her so offers to go to a hotel instead, but Mason and Mia convince her to stay
and the three of them have a wonderful Christmas.
