Accomplished Chicago pastry chef Julia Wilson (Cory Lee) is looking for the perfect Gingerbread recipe to complete her latest cookbook, and her search takes her to a small-town in Wisconsin where a local bakery sells the Gingerbread she craves.
There she meets the baker Kris Thompson (Yannick Bisson) his daughter
Stevie (Mikaela Bisson) and his mother, Irene (Jayne Eastwood).
Although she finds him charming, he is reluctant to share his secret
recipe with her, however they strike a bargain for it, providing she can increase
the footfall to the bakery.
As they work closely to meet the target, they soon discover the
special ingredient to the perfect Christmas.
