Julian and Brianna (Finesse Mitchell and LeToya Luckett) were rivals at the same culinary school and when they meet several years later on a TV Baking Contest, sparks fly, amongst other things.
Each of them have their own reasons for entering and specific plans
for the prize money, Julian to build on the legacy of his mother Sophie (Arlene
Duncan) and Brianna to fund the tuition fees for her daughter Willow (Naomi
Sogbein).
However there proves to be more to the competition than they believed
and as they work closely together it seems that there is also more to their
protagonists than meets the eye.
