Alana (Violet
Bennett) is unemployed and living with her best friend Stacey (Kaitlyn Lunardi)
while he is desperately searching for a job.
Then out of the
blue one week before Christmas she is contacted by Henry (Jamie Craib) who
tells her she has inherited her late grandfather's old winter home, and that he’s
representing Ty (Jefferson Cox) who is interested in buying the cabin.
Her plan once she
was there, she would hopefully sell it, but she discovers a photo on her
grandfather's tablet showing a jackpot winning which he won shortly before he
died.
This sets off a
race to find the ticket before it expires.
Alana gets help
from her new neighbour, Luke (Travis Laughlin), but she isn’t totally honest
about what she is looking for.
But it’s a race
against time to find it before all the business’s sell up to the enemy.
