At
the North Pole, the icicle drawing on Christmas spirit, is the magical power
source, but its failing and the whole toy processing system is threatened by
the weakening of its magical power and Santa Claus (George Wendt) and his chief
dog Santa Paws (Tom Bosley) are really worried.
The
reason for the trouble is Puppy Paws (Zachary Gordon) who was harshly rebuked,
and wished in front of the icicle that there was no Christmas so he could be a
regular dog, then when Eli the Elf (Danny Woodburn) leaves in the van Fernfield
Puppy Paws stows away so he can join five Buddies siblings, Budderball, Buddha,
B-Dawg, Mudbud and Rosebud (Josh Flitter, Field Cate, Skyler Gisondo, Ty Panitz
and Liliana Mumy).
But
Puppy Paws fall victim of the grim dog catcher Stan Cruge (Christopher Lloyd).
So,
when the power falls beneath minimum Eli the Elf and Eddy the Elf Dog (Richard
Kind) go to Fernfield to retrieve him, then the six puppies have to join forces
to save the world's Christmas spirit and learn the true meaning of Christmas.
