A brother and sister Missy-Ann and Du Gong Peterson (Jill Albano and Kevin Austin) are grounded at Christmastime by their stepmom Cathy-Lee (Tracey Birdsall) after they break curfew.

But they find ways to sneak out for night adventures but when their parents go away for a few days they team up with their pals Freddy Firecracker (Shane Kaufman), Valley-girl Paulina (Ashley Williams) and a much younger African American kid from the neighbourhood they call Mister Shorty (Karlin Walker) to foil a pair of fugitive bank robbers.

Martin Taylor (George Newbern) realises he has totally lost touch with his family; he has no clue who his teenage daughter, Lu, (Taylor Spreitler) is or who her friends are, he has no idea why his son, Adam (Aidan Potter) only communicates with him via an electronic sign outside his bedroom door, or why his youngest child Jessie (Francesca Capaldi) only watches faith TV.

His whacky survivalist brother Sam, (Kevin Crowley) convinces him that the family needs to reconnect, so Martin surprises his wife Jackie (Megyn Price) and his kids with a little experiment, he locks them in their own home with no power, no heat, no running water, and absolutely no contact with the world outside!

The sudden holiday staycation isn't what the Taylors had in mind for the weekend, but they have to team up to prove they can survive Dad's wacky mission.

The multi-talented Writer and director, Corbin Bernsen, also appears in an enjoyable cameo as a cameraman.

June Schroeder (Isabelle Almoyan) leaves her job working for her overbearing multimillionaire father John Schroeder (Ron Ford) in order to strike out on her own, but he buys up every company that employs her.

So June finds a job with PBS TV station that her father legally cannot purchase and convinces Claire Rubin (Michelle Lundy) to let her work there.

The problem is that her old college adversary Declan Riordan (David Michael Reardon) and are very antagonistic towards each other but make it work well enough to impress their only sponsor, actor Cary Leech (Wes Deitrick).

They come up with a plan to revive the stations fortunes and put on a Christmas concert, but on the night of the big event disaster strikes.

So will they be able to turn disaster into success by appealing to the wider public that they serve? And will their animosity to romance?

Katherine and Jasmine Taylor (Tracie Thoms and Jasika Nicole) are a black American couple whose plans to start a family may not be as set in stone as they thought.

Sam Martin and Courtney Chen (Jamie Bamber and Linda Park) meet after 10 years to discuss the reason they broke up.

Schoolfriends Gabriela Santos and Diego Oliveros (Catherine Toribio and Maurice Mejia) are sharing a room before attending a formal.

Musician Jack Livingston (Christopher Backus) who is performing at the Flynn converses with Shannon (Laurie Fortier) and his father Charlie Livingston (David O'Hara).

And work colleague’s Susan Clark and Ben Haney (Jaime Ray Newman and Ross McCall) who are in town for a conference, share a couple of bottles of Pinot Noir.

Over a year after Officer Harkmore Wilson (Colin Kaye) was critically injured in the line of duty and his K-9  died to help his recovery he is given new recruit Hansel, by Helen (Alex Cain)

but everyone  thinks new recruit Hansel is too small to be a K-9 dog.

But when Burbank is plagued by a greedy package thief that is ruining the holidays, little Officer Hansel must go on a mission to catch him and save Christmas.
