In the first Christmas since Molly Memmott (Weixin Le) died her husband John (Darin Scott) and three young daughters Catherine, Sarah and Emily (Sophia, Isabella and Ava Jarque) struggle to face their first Christmas without her and eight-year-old Emily is convinced her mother will come and visit her at Christmas and the others don’t know how they will deal with her disappointment, or will they have to.

It's nearly Christmas in 1942, and Millie (Afton Grace Higbee) learns in her dance class that in the new year she will be able to dance on pointe, and excitedly runs home to tell her parents, but before she can she overhears them discussing their finances, and there is no money for presents, so she knows that she won’t get her point shoes.

Her and her siblings Grace and William (Scarlett Hazen and Manning Hazen)  still excitedly wait for Gramma (Pam Eichner) to arrive with her special Christmas apron, newly pressed and filled with generations of holiday memories.

It was the family tradition, for each child in the house to write down the gift they want the most and then put the pieces of paper into the apron's frilled pocket.

But on Christmas morning in 1942, will those wished-for gifts be waiting under the tree?

Once Upon a Christmas is a cross between A Christmas Carol and Freaky Friday in which Carroll Coleman (Garry Nation) is a millionaire miser who hates Christmas.

One night he is visited by an Angel (Reilly Licht) who told him he has been granted an intervention and that he has until the 18th of December to learn the true meaning of Christmas or his fate will be sealed forever.

The next day he wakes to find he is a high school age boy (Hunter Fine) and with the help of his housekeeper Odette Marchand (Jewel Christian) he is enrolled in high school so he can get close to his niece and nephew, Olivia and Matthew Baker (Kayla Blair and Kaleb Hiller).

After a few failed attempts to change things, he finally realises that he is the one that needs to change.

Taya Orchard (Teagan Vincze) is the hardworking owner of the busy but struggling Elk Ridge resort when she reconnects with former beau Bradley Palmer (Clayton James) who books into the resort with his colleague Miranda (Brenna Coates).

There are obvious sparks at the reunion and they end up spending a lot of time together but Taya is worried about the resorts financial challenges and her unscrupulous accountant Jeff (Thomas Perras), fortunately Miranda is a forensic accountant so she easily untangles the fraud while becoming tangled with Chef Phillipe (Alex Rose) so they all manage to save Elk Ridge and find love in the process.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CAROLINA CHRISTMAS (2020)

 

In the small quaint coastal community of Paradise, South Carolina a new Christmas hating City inspector Ben Cashman (Jose Vasquez) and wants to expunge every trace of it.

However Tashandra (Jaeda Jordan) isn’t about to let an outsider from New York city ruin her favourite time of the year and new merchant Nic (Josh Kay) defies Ben at every turn.

When embittered Charley and Erika (Richard Lake and Shay Denison) cross paths it leads to an unlikely empathy.

Single mom Elizabeth (Meri Beth Howard) and her daughter Bella (Sophie Belle Henry) have just moved to Paradise for a new start, and meets another newcomer Tim Johnson (John Wes Lewis) and connect.

So between them will they save Christmas in Paradise?
