In
this contemporary retelling of Louisa May Alcott's 1868 classic novel, the
March sisters Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy (Jillian Murray,
Jen Lilley, Laura Osnes and Julia Reilly) return home to celebrate Christmas in
Alcott Grove.
The
story focuses mainly on Jo, a highly successful children's author, struggling
to break into the YA market and her publisher gives her two weeks to produce a
new draft, so she's forced to combine the holiday with developing a new
concept.
In
the meantime, Fritz, one of their editors, is sent by the publisher to support
Jo.
He
goes to Alcott Grove but doesn’t declare who he is or why he's there, and
instead gets close to Jo, and her sisters encourage her to spend time with
Fritz.
But
with them developing a romantic relationship, what will happen when the truth
is revealed?
