In
the seaside Town of Xander Point there is a well-orchestrated plan to demolish
the historic lighthouse in order to make room for a new hotel development.
Pastor
Lan (William Young IV) and his therapist
wife, Dr. Colleen Sullivan (Kellie Shanygne Williams)
are the beloved
caretakers of the Lighthouse, but they are informed by Mayor James McClure (Fite Troy)
that they are to demolish the
landmark on the 1st of January.
As
the Sullivans prepare to spend their last Christmas at the lighthouse, Colleens
best friend, Bree Broughton (Lillian Smith), returns to town for
Christmas.
She
is deeply troubled about her engagement to Colton Cawley
(Stephen Fisher) who is set to profit hugely from the new development, while still mourning the
loss of her true love, Marine Jacob (Mitchell Lee), who was killed in action
years earlier, or so she believes.
Jacob
is actually alive and in therapy with Colleen who is trying to bring them
together on Christmas Eve, but the same day the Mayor’s young son Kurt McClure (Ethan Konner Post), takes his father's boat out to sea after
being bullied by school kids, so the Pastor switches on the Lighthouse fearing
Kurt is lost at sea.
Jacob
finds him safe on Christmas morning and he and Bree rekindle their love.
