THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – RADIO CHRISTMAS (2019)

Kara Porter (Keshia Knight Pulliam) is a DJ in Philadelphia on Radio Christmas, a year-round Christmas station, but when the Radio Station is forced to close for repairs, Kara is sent to the small town of  Bethlehem where she must broadcast her show for six weeks.

In Bethlehem she meets divorcee Scott (Michael Xavier) and his daughter Andie (Nakai Takawira) and feels immediately at home.

While she’s there she wants to expand her profile and see’s the unmasking of the town's Secret Santa, an anonymous benefactor, as a way of doing that.

Instead, she discovers the true meaning of family, love, and Christmas.

Liz Darling (Katee Sackhoff) reluctantly returns to her hometown with her daughter Hannah (Emma Oliver) after her estranged father, Dennis (Terry O'Quinn) injures his arm saving a small child from a falling Christmas Tree.

The reclusive nature of his life and reluctance to celebrate Christmas following his wife’s death was the reason for their estrangement.

However, it’s not until she returns that she realises how bad things have got in her absence, particularly the imminent foreclosure on his house.

The only thing left that might save the day is the “Christmas boat lights parade” which pays a cash prize, the only problem with that is the boat is not looking its best, so she enlists the help of Luke Fletcher (Patrick Sabongui) her childhood best friend who still lives in town, and that brings old feelings to the surface.

So, will Liz rise to the occasion and is there a greater prize at stake?

Lindsay (Jen Lilley) is the New York director of a Global charity organization founded by the Royal Family of Valdonia.

in the runup to Christmas she is visited in New York by the head of the organization Willard (Michael Hanrahan) and Prince Aiden (Brendan Fehr), although the latter described himself as an accountant when he met Lindsay, then she is summoned to the Kingdom of Valdonia to partake in the 100th anniversary of the charity.

Once there she meets the prince again and this time there is no pretence.

They work together in the celebration planning, and he tries to spend as much time as possible with her and the attraction is definitely mutual, but she sees no future for them as he is expected to marry Princess Dahlia (Rachel VanDuzer), even though they have never met.

So, can they break the very old-fashioned traditions of Valdonia to follow their heart?

Book editor Maggie (Emily Rose) has a well-earned reputation as a matchmaker and with the company Christmas Party fast approaching her boss Amanda (Melanie Nelson) asks her to find her a date for the party.

Unfortunately, she is knocked off her stride though when her old boyfriend from college, Jaxson Jones (Corey Sevier), is announced as a newly signed, successful author, who she has to edit.

Jaxson arriving back in her life forces her to face decisions from the past, but it’s not long before her matchmaking efforts on Amanda’s behalf take a back seat to finding her own perfect match.
